Trabzonspor, the legendary Turkish soccer team, joins the NFT space with a collection that celebrates their sporting history. The club will showcase its NFT collection through Sportium, the leading NFT sports industry platform in South Korea.
While there is no official date, the NFT campaign is reportedly set to begin in the second quarter of 2022.
Trabzonspor debuts NFT collection of unforgettable moments
Trabzonspor is currently playing one of the best seasons in recent history. The team sit at the top of the Süper Lig table, eleven points ahead of rivals Fernabahce and just four games to go.
The 2021/2022 season is an exciting time to be a fan of the team. As things stand, they will win the league title in Turkey for the first time since 1983. Also, the introduction of NFTs will give Trabzonspor fans the opportunity to celebrate the championship in a unique way.
There are three football club NFT collections that celebrate the club’s memorable moments. These collections are the “Trabzonspor Championship Collection”, “Historical Collection” and “VIP Auction Collection”.
While the price aspect of all NFTs is unclear, we do know the price of the Trabzonspor Championship Collection. The price reflects the Trabzon license plate which is $61.
In addition, each of these NFTs will contain an NFT of a football shirt representing different team players.
Hopefully, we’ll learn more about Trabzonspor’s upcoming NFT project, which is expected to win the most significant football title in Turkey this year soon.
