CREYZIES, the official mfers Companion Collection, has just been airdropped to all mfers NFT holders. The surprising airdrop is the result of a collaboration between Rey, Sartoshi and West Coast NFT. There are 9.9K CREYZIES available which at the time of writing has a minimum price of 0.48 ETH and a trading volume of 847 ETH.

First, let’s get to know the awesome artist behind these crazy artworks. Pablo Esteban Sanchez Rijlaarsdam, or Rey, hails from Mexico City and has been in the NFT space for over a year. Before that, the 34-year-old exhibited his art at countless exhibitions, art fairs and auctions.

CREYZIES are for Mfers, just like BEANZ are for Azukis or BAKCs are for BAYCs. Companion NFTs represent one of the best surprises any NFT holder can dream of. Basically, holding 1 NFT entitles you to another piece for free. This is especially true when the accompanying NFTs are unique in their own way and add a whole new dimension to the original collection.

Rey and Sartoshi started working on this idea in January 2022, turning simple sketches into a complete collection for the mfers community. The CREYZIES collection has the same categories: Plain, Charcoal, Ape, Alien and the 21 special 1/1s. According to the artist, he was not paid to create the collection and that Sartoshi covered all airdrop costs. Ultimately, there will only be the second sale fee, which is just 2.5%.

Rey not only runs the OpenSea and Twitter accounts but also works on the verification process of the project. This is to reduce the negative impact of any knockoffs or scams that are so rampant in the space. In the future, the mfers/CREYZIES universe will definitely continue to grow.
