The American halal fast food chain The Halal Guys is now offering a Food Cart NFT to their loyal guests. Aside from that, the NFT offering is also part of the initiative to celebrate the restaurant’s 100th store opening this month in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
So if you want to get one of the exclusive NFTs, just make sure you have eaten at The Halal Guys 100 times. Eligible guests gain access to Century Club and receive the Food Cart NFT as part of the rewards.

First, in addition to receiving a Food Cart NFT, Century Club membership comes with its own set of perks and benefits. These include swag, a Century Club coin and a 3D printed wagon.
“We felt the NFT offered an interesting juxtaposition of the same breed of old-school wagons we’re so well known for, with a modern 2022 twist,” said Andrew Eck, Marketing VP of The Halal Guys. “I’ve been paying attention to what some other concepts have been doing in this area of the industry… I thought it might be a cool way to bring The Halal Guys into this world as well.”

Final Thoughts
All in all, many big brands are using NFTs as a marketing tool as NFTs achieve mass adoption. These include large grocery chains like KFC and McDonald’s. However, some used NFTs to improve the food industry instead. A good example is the launch of the Food Fighters Universe NFT collection by Andy Nguyen and Kevin Seo.
