Joining co-hosts Steven McClurg and CJ Wilson this time is horse racer, Nascar driver, wrestler and bitcoiner Summer Rae. She also holds a leadership position at Hedge, a referral program that allows you to set up your accounts so you can get paid in Bitcoin. Rae is currently one of the top women in WWE. Taking a five-year hiatus due to injury, she just returned to the Royal Rumble, taking a percentage of her winnings into Bitcoin through hedging.

Regarding the environment, they discuss the hot topic of bitcoin mining and how energy consumption aligns incentives to support local communities. In addition, they talk about the energy efficiency of bitcoin mining and how it can work in terms of energy use during off-peak times or, using the example of the Texas power grid, how bitcoin mining consolidates the energy base. Referring to our national energy use, Rae says, “Bitcoin and bitcoin mining have helped raise awareness about the use of renewable energy and how we can do so much more.” The trio goes on to talk about Dollar-Cost -Discuss average, wrestling, athletes accepting paychecks in bitcoin, and more.
