How will PopCom’s PopShop sell NFTs?
Mark your calendar guys. June 20, 2022 will be the day when history will be rewritten. During NFT.NYC, PopCom will launch its PopShop at the Midtown Hilton and launch its first NFT collection: The NYers. This series features cartoon portraits of well-known celebrities such as Biggie, Whoopi Goldberg, Mike Tyson, Jay-Z and Donald Trump.
Only 10 will be on sale that day, priced at $500 each. Basically, the 10 buyers each receive 1 of 10 limited NFTs. The vending machine first prints a physical high-quality print of the NYers collection. Then the buyer finds a unique QR code to mint the digital NFT. The team also promises other exclusive benefits after the purchase.
This seems like a very reasonable price to be part of the NFT story, right?
As physical goods gain visibility through vending machines, so will NFTs. This innovative solution allows artists such as CoinGODx can easily showcase and sell their art in high traffic areas without being physically present. They can now deliver their art both physically and virtually while being in multiple physical locations at the same time.

Who is the artist behind this Genesis collection?
Christopher ‘Knxtti’ Green is essentially a multidisciplinary artist. The artist focuses on contradictions of human experience, man’s transition from physical to digital beings, and social commentary using pop culture icons as references. Those in the art community will be familiar with his paintings of skeletons depicting a skinless humanity.
In early 2021 he entered the NFT scene. He has had great success in the world and even helped other artists who are struggling to get started. KidEight from the EVOL NFT collection and Dee Cosey also recognize Knxtti as the catalyst for their success in the digital realm. This type of community is what the NFT space is all about.
PopCom’s PopShop Local
Prior to NFTs, the PopShop Local program worked with various brands to connect with their affluent customers. This can be in all sorts of high-traffic areas, including hotels, shopping malls, airports, convention centers, etc.
