Pplpleasr recognized digital artist Emily Yang is collaborating with Brut Media to release a limited edition NFT collection. The NFTs grant access to in-person events at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival May 17-28.
Pplpleasr will publish Producer Pass NFTs
The 75 animated Producer Pass NFTs are based on Ethereum and you can mint one on pplpleasr’s own Shibuya NFT platform. Each NFT features an animated loop of a white fox walking down a red carpet. However, the other specific characteristics of the NFT depend on its tier: bronze, silver or gold.
Pplpleasr’s bronze tier NFTs cost 5 ETH (around $14,000) to mint. It grants holders access to the red carpet event and a film screening on the first day of the festival.
Silver tier NFTs cost 6 ETH (around $16,800) and grant holders access to the red carpet event. In addition, holders can also see the screening of a specific film such as Top Gun: Maverick, Elvis, or Three Thousand Years of Longing.
The most desirable NFT type, the Gold tier, costs 7 ETH (around $19,600). It gives its owner access to the opening or closing ceremonies of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. This includes the ceremony’s corresponding red carpet event.
Ultimately, funds raised through the NFT sale will continue to benefit female content creators. According to Pplpleasr, she will donate all proceeds to the Annenberg Accelerator Program, an initiative of the University of Southern California.
