Pepsi has teamed up with American singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige to be co-hosts of the inaugural “Strength of a Woman” Festival & Summit. They organized various activities to support artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs and more in Atlanta. One of the highlights of the weekend was the free POAP NFTs, given exclusively to summit attendees.

First, the opening night performance featured a Gen Z concert at the Tabernacle of Atlanta. The event will highlight Pepsi Music Lab finalist StarchildKayla, who will perform her new original track Up! debuted.
Then, celebrity chef Carla Hall launches Pepsi Dig In’s new restaurant royalty program. This initiative celebrates primarily black-owned restaurants, where the community can nominate their favorite restaurants to join this list. During the event, Carla Hall moderated a panel discussion of black women-owned restaurants discussing current issues surrounding the food industry.
In addition, Pepsi Stronger Together donated $20,000 to revitalize the City of Refuge and support women in need. This donation goes directly to the provision of important work and everyday clothing as well as personal care items. City of Refuge is an organization that provides services to families and individuals in crisis situations. They help their residents get back on their feet and support the closet donation program.
Finally, Pepsi partnered with some of the best female Web3 artists on the market to release free Proof of Attendance Protocols (POAPs) NFTs. The NFTs were on display throughout the event and all summit attendees received one.
All in all, the event was a great success. Pepsi continues to use its influence on the global stage and rich heritage in music and entertainment to impact change.
