John Legend’s NFT platform, OurSong’s parent company, Our Happy Company, has just raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by Animoca Brands.
About the funding
Earlier, OurSong’s parent company, Our Happy Company, announced that it had raised a seed round of funding led by Infinity Ventures Crypto and Animoca Brands. They said it will be used to grow and develop the OurSong NFT platform.
The funding also included participation from Cherubic Ventures, Circle Ventures, FBG Capital, Highstreet, HTC, Jump Trading and North Island Ventures.
The company says its flagship product, OurSong, “was designed to give creators, including musicians and artists, a fairer way to create digitally and monetize their work. And build communities around them.”
They also talked about funding. He added that the funding will “position them for continued global expansion and enhancements to OurSong. Including the introduction of new features for creators.”
About OurSong and John Legend
OurSong is the first mobile app from Our Happy Company, co-founded by music artist John Legend. The company says it has made creating and buying NFTs super easy. They have made it possible for anyone to turn stories, music, photography and any type of art into NFT trading cards called Vibes. You can capture, collect and generate “Vibes”. This can be done through their mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
