OpenSea, the largest NFT marketplace, has a major update to its user interface. An official blog post revealed that as of today, Opensea is taking the first step to improve its UI design for the benefit of its users.

Why OpenSea is updating its user interface
It’s no secret that Opensea has faced its own problems this year. Its official Discord server was hacked and recorded its lowest 24-hour sale for the same month. Fortunately, the platform is stepping up to offer a better service to its users.
Two weeks ago it announced that it will introduce some features that will detect fake NFTs. And just today the interface is updated. According to the announcement, the aim of the update is to place a stronger focus on Opensea’s community content. Basically, it’s about simplifying the OpenSea community and making room for richer experiences.
In addition, the platform is also working on upgrades to its technical stack. The upgrade will make the OpenSea experience faster and more responsive for everyone, the post states.
What changes can you expect in the OpenSea user interface?
For the first UI update, changes focus on the appearance of profiles and collections within the platform.
OpenSea’s goal for the profile pages is to give its users more opportunities to highlight their favorite content. Also, make it easy for them to navigate through their collections, favorites, and more.
Regarding the collection pages update, OpenSea has made it easier for users to find and browse NFTs of their favorite creators. You can access all other NFTs that a creator has created directly from their collection. This makes it easier for collectors to discover new content from creators they like.
Finally, Opensea said these new UI updates are just the beginning of more changes the platform will be releasing in the coming weeks.
