NBA and Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade teams up with Budweiser to release the Budweiser Zero NFT Collection. This initiative comes as the brand tries to build a following and create great experiences. The collection will be released on May 24th at 2pm ET.

Since retiring in the 2018/2019 season, the 3-time NBA champion has been actively involved in various business ventures. He got off to a flying start by signing a lifetime contract with Li-Ning after retiring from the NBA. He also has ongoing partnerships with MISSION, Hisense, BallerTV, Stance, Budweiser, Mars Reel, Wade Cellars, 800° Woodfired Kitchen, and D. Wade Burgers.

In 2020, Dwayne Wade co-founded Budweiser Zero, your usual bud but with just 50 calories. It’s essentially a non-alcoholic, sugar-free brew with the refreshing, full-bodied taste you’ve come to expect from Budweiser. They have specially developed this product for fans who want to enjoy a beer without alcohol.

According to the Utah Jazz owner, the partnership will leverage their unique skills and relationships to have a positive impact on the community. Along with Budweiser, Dwayne Wade will make a donation to create a grant program for minority-owned businesses in underserved communities across the United States. This builds on his existing work with the Social Change Fund United, which strengthens communities of color and advocates for the rights of all black people.

Budweiser USA has been quite active in the NFT space for some time. Her many collections and collaborations are available on OpenSea. In addition, they recently released the Budverse Roadmap 2022. There’s a lot of interesting detail in this roadmap, with Dwayne Wade’s Budverse Legends sitting right in the middle. The company hasn’t explained the details of that roadmap, but they clearly have big plans for the space.
