Good news! The Illuvium NFT land sale is scheduled to take place on June 2nd at 9am UTC. This time, 20,000 NFT plots will be up for auction via a Dutch auction. Additionally, minting is taking place on Immutable X, a zero gas fee, L2 scaling solution on Ethereum.

According to the team, holders of these NFT lands can earn up to 5% of the total game revenue from Illuvium. If you want to purchase any of these plots, make sure you prepare some ETH or $sILV2 during the sale. Read on to find out more!

The Illuvium NFT Real Estate Sale: What you need to know

In order to reduce gas expenses, Illuvium NFT’s land sale will take place in batches. Every hour 278 new plots are put up for sale for 2 hours. The price is reduced by 2.5% per minute until someone buys it. Given that, the entire sale will last for 3 days.

As of now, there are 5 tiers of land with different starting prices as shown below. Tier 1-4 land can be bought with ETH or $sILV2, while Tier 5 land can only be bought with ETH. Each batch of NFT lots will have roughly the same ratio of tiers during the sale. So you don’t have to worry about missing out on prime lands if you mint at a later date.

What can I do with lands in Illuvium?

For those who don’t know, NFT lands are crucial foundations in Illuvium: Zero, a separate mobile minigame that allows players to buy lands. Each lot can generate fuel, an important resource for in-game transportation in Illuvium.

The higher the land tier, the more fuel the land can produce. In fact, a Tier 5 country can increase fuel production by 900% as shown in the table below. In addition, NFT landowners can earn up to 5% of the total income from Illuvium in-game.
