The Duppies NFT community recently came alive when the official Twitter account was hacked. Apparently, some wallets were emptied after clicking the Stealth Mint link. Since then, the Solana community, the DeGods NFT community, and the Duppies NFT community have been actively tweeting to warn more people not to click links from this Twitter account.

What happened to Duppies NFT’s Twitter account?
Basically there was an announcement on the Duppies NFT Twitter account say that there was a stealth mint. By following the link, users effectively relinquished control of their NFT wallets. According to Twitter user @Helloimmorgan, several wallets have already been emptied as a result of this hack.
Since then, the team has contacted Twitter support and asked them to shut down the page. This is to prevent other community members from falling for the exploit. They even give out free $DUST to random accounts that help them report the hack.
Who are the duppies?
The Duppies NFT project is from the same team that brought you the DeGods NFT collection. Frank and his team have certainly done a great job with DeGods so far, even catching the attention of the likes of Shaquille O’Neal. In addition, they also sponsor a team in Ice Cube’s Big3 League.
The minting date is expected to be July 15, 2022. There will be a total supply of 15,000 NFTs and participants will need $375 DUST to mint a Duppies NFT.
Duppies NFT is a 100% WL project with 9.5k spots dedicated to the DeadGods NFT holders. In addition, the team awards 3.5,000 scholarships. 1.5k WL spots also go to different DAOs based on the amount of $DUST they are holding. There’s no indication yet of what the artwork will look like, as the team won’t be releasing them until during the actual Mint.
