Habbo x CyberKongz: what are the details?
CyberKongz NFT holders can unlock unique in-game collectibles by connecting their crypto wallet to their Habbo account. This includes clothing, badges and furniture to decorate their hotel rooms. Additionally, they will unlock custom speech bubbles and effects in a future Habbo update.
All of these items are tied to owning CyberKongz NFTs, allowing them to showcase their collections in Habbo. Additionally, Habbo will also create a decorative common space for the collaborations. It will be the social center for the collection.
“We are very excited to bring the CyberKongz community to Habbo,” said Mika Timonen, NFT Director. “CyberKongz is one of my favorite projects and the perfect project to start our collaboration.”
“Habbo Hotel is one of the OG projects from the early Web2 days and I vividly remember playing it as a kid… Watching brands like them harness the power of NFTs and Web3 is really inspiring and a heavenly combination! We are super proud and happy to be part of such a great project!” said myoo, founder of CyberKongz.
Habbo is an online community for teens and young adults. In addition, it is one of the largest virtual communities in the world. Founded in 2000, Habbo has grown to include nine online communities, or “hotels.” It has paying customers in over 150 countries and more than 600,000 monthly active users. Habbo was originally developed by Sulake, a Finnish company owned by Azerion. Last year, Habbo released its debut NFT collection.
