Floyd Mayweather, the world renowned boxer, released an NFT collection called Mayweverse a few days ago. The collection stock is 5000 and they were minted with 0.3 ETH.
Floyd has been involved in crypto for quite some time. Since his time in space he has abandoned his last two NFT projects and encouraged countless rug pulls. People see his track record in the NFT space and stay away from this project as much as possible.

Floyd quite literally said that the coin price is 0.3 ETH, “giving you maximum profit and value.” Additionally, 0.3 ETH is widely considered to be a super high mint price. Second, you rarely see project creators refer to bringing “profit” to the owners.
Floyd is known for its NFT carpets
The NFT space finally seems to be maturing as people realize that most of these projects are just celebrity money-making. As previously mentioned, Floyd has abandoned his last two projects.
Only 147 NFTs from this collection were minted out of a potential 5000. It’s ironic that Discord is said to have 115,000 “real” members. Again, the NFT community is constantly changing and has learned from its previous missed steps.
Floyd has maintained that this project is here to stay. He also has plans to build a metaverse. Regarding these statements, most NFT community members see through them. As a result, some are even calling for the SEC to go after Floyd for all of his money-making schemes. Overall, the Floyd Mayweather project is far from sold out as it looks like NFT investors are getting wiser.
