Nekojarashi, the Oscar-winning producer behind Drive My Car, today announced the launch of a new NFT marketplace called Roadstead. Developed in partnership with Intertrust, a leading digital rights management (DRM) technology company, the marketplace allows users to view, sell and trade NFTs. First, unlike existing NFT marketplaces, Nekojarashi’s NFT marketplace, Roadstead brings several additional features. These include lending, rental and superdistribution. All in all, the goal of the marketplace is to enable creators to monetize their assets safely.
The marketplace uses blockchain and DRM technologies to protect against piracy and NFT counterfeiting. Also, it allows creators and fans to interact directly with their fans. In addition, Intertrust DRM goes one step further to prevent fraud.
