Christofle, a company led by United Arab Emirates-based Chalhoub, will enter the Metaverse on May 7th with its first NFT collection, entitled 925 Genesis MOOD. It will be released exclusively on the Exclusible platform, with the pre-sale at 17:30 UTC and the public sale at 18:00.
The NFT Collection
The NFT created by Christofle refers to an imaginary city with the Latin name “Christofle Aurifaber Citatis”. It means “The City of Christofle Silversmithing” in English. The company’s CEO, Emilie Metge, said. “We are excited to enter the Metaverse era with this new first NFT collection. In line with our brand values of boldness, elegance, excellence and inclusivity, with a bold and modern approach. We translate our craftsmanship into the new wave of the internet, which is about community and ownership.”
The collection was also inspired by MOOD by Christofle, launched in 2015. It’s one of the tableware company’s best-sellers.
The NFTs will mint on the excludable platform for 0.1 ETH on Saturday, May 7th. Interestingly, NFT holders get access to exclusive benefits.

Christofle is a goldsmith and crockery company founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle. The company is best known for bringing silver plating to France in 1842. In 2012 it was bought outright by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family, who have owned the company ever since.
