Yesterday, LVMH nominated luxury wine NFT marketplace BlockBar as one of the potential nominees for the 2022 LVMH Innovation Awards. With that in mind, BlockBar will be showcased at the LVMH Lab at VivaTech in Paris next month. The event lasts 4 days and starts from June 15th to 18th.
LVMH nominates BlockBar for the 2022 Innovation Award
Firstly, being shortlisted for the LVMH 2022 Innovation Award is not an easy task. Only 21 innovative startups get the chance to present themselves with the LVMH Lab. And BlockBar is one of them.
In fact, Dov Falic, CEO and co-founder of BlockBar, is honored to be nominated by LVMH as an innovator in the luxury wine and spirits industry. In fact, working closely with the LVMH group will bring BlockBar one step closer to his goal. This is intended to make luxury spirits more accessible to crypto-savvy collectors.
During the event, a jury will select 6 startups that will receive the award in 6 different categories as shown below. Out of the 6, only one will be the winner of the LVMH Innovation Award 2022. In order to make the breakthrough, BlockBar Livi – short for LVMH Innovation Virtual Insider – has to present his vision of luxury during the event.

Final Thoughts
All in all, as the world’s first NFT marketplace for luxury wines and spirits, BlockBar has been quite active in the NFT space. Aside from releasing rare whiskey NFTs, it has teamed up with Monkey Shoulder to give away 100 Bored Ape themed bottles to some lucky BAYC NFT owners. Coupled with the recent nomination by LVMH, we can’t wait to see BlockBar reach greater heights in the future.
