Anthony Hopkins is a Welsh actor, known for his performances on screen and stage. One of his biggest performances was his role in The Silence of the Lambs as Hannibal Lecter. Now the world famous actor is getting into NFTs and confirms it with his tweet asking for recommendations from his celebrity friends.

Anthony Hopkins’ step in NFTs
Actor Anthony Hopkins has announced he is investing in NFTs and is now interested in acquiring his first piece after being “amazed” by all the big NFT artists.
Currently, his Twitter display name is AHopkins.eth, suggesting he owns the domain name. He likely bought this ENS domain while doing his research as his NFT interest grew. Officially, this was his first step into the NFT space.
Hopkins turned to his celebrity friends for help: Snoop Dogg, Jimmy Fallon and Reese Witherspoon. This trio of world famous celebs were big fans of the NFT space, all three being among the top celebrity collectors of NFTs and all owning blue chips.
The celebrity and Twitter’s response
He received a response from talk show host Jimmy Fallon of the three celebrity friends he tagged. The American said: “There (are) a lot of great artists out there and it’s a fun community in general. But, as the great Aaron Neville once said, “I don’t know much – but I do know that I love you.” And that might be all you need to know. DM me.”
gmoney, a celebrity in the NFT space himself, responded by saying, “Has anyone else read that with that classic Anthony Hopkins accent?”. Luckily for those who heard, Hopkins responded with a voice memo in his iconic “best Welsh boyo voice”. You can see the video here.
It’s uncertain what NFT Hopkins will buy first, or what his famous friends will recommend to him. But one thing is for sure, he seems fascinated by the space.
